Drone Max Wind

Terms

Use of this site.

Drone Max Wind is a free, informational wind-planning tool for consumer drones. By using the site you agree to these terms. This is not legal advice.

The calculator is a planning aid.

GO, CAUTION, and NO-GO are estimates from published model limits and Open-Meteo wind at 10 m, 80 m, and 120 m. Weather can change. Local terrain, rotors, and gusts can differ from the model. You remain responsible for the decision to fly, visual line of sight, airspace, and all applicable rules, including FAA recreational or Part 107 requirements in the US.

No affiliation.

Drone Max Wind is independent. We are not affiliated with DJI, Autel, Skydio, Holy Stone, Open-Meteo, or any aviation authority. Brand names are used only to identify models and published specs.

Data and specs.

Manufacturer ratings are taken from public specifications where we can find them. Some limits are labeled as class estimates. Specs can change; check the maker if you need an official figure. We do not guarantee completeness or accuracy.

Acceptable use.

Do not abuse the weather APIs, scrape the site in a way that degrades the service, or present this tool as an official aviation product. The site is provided as-is, without warranty.
